Hey guys,
Once again thanks for everyone who came along and made it a great event. A special thanks goes out to Karen and Katherine for helping me out with the data entry, and Si, Barney, and Johnny for organising the respective systems.
I will post up and email out a full set of results in due course once I have worked them out (the software we used didn't break down those who ended up on the same scores and just ranked them alphabetically).
But I can confirm who the winner of the various awards are:
BLOODBOWL
Best Painted Team - Jimmy Balderstone
Most Sporting Player - Meena Minnis
3rd Place - Matt Carr
2nd Place - Mark Elsdon
Bloodbowl Overal Champion 2010 - Andrew M Berry
EPIC
Best Painted Army - Chris Steel
Most Sporting Player - Mike Thomas
3rd Place - Steve Gullick
2nd Place - Dave Thomas
Epic Overal Champion 2010 - Joe Jephson
WARHAMMER FANTASY BATTLE
Best Painted Army - Brett Wikie
Most Sporting Player - Joe Clifford
3rd Place - Brett Wilkie
2nd Place - Adam Turner Warhammer Fantasy Battle Overal Champion 2010 - Tom Mawdsley
WARHAMMER 40,000
Best Painted Army - Graham Apperley
Most Sporting Player - Michael Norris (it should be noted that people who hadn't even played Michael voted for him due to his amazing attitude throughout the weekend) (it should also be noted that Michael had only just learnt to play 40k, this was his first event, and he didn't win a single game)
3rd Place - Adam Smith
2nd Place - Gaz Jones
Warhammer 40,000 Overal Champion 2010 - Rob Madeley
Finally there were 2 extra awards this year, the first was the "I proved Gaz Jones wrong award" which was presented to James Knight for proving to Gaz it is possible to qualify for the 40k GT Final with 6 Space Marine Dreadnoughts.
(yes it is a clock on a piece of string) Whilst last but by no means least this year we presented a special "Life Time Achievement Award" to John Last for not coming dead last in 40k for the first time EVER!
So once again thank you to everyone who came along for the weekend and helped make it our most successful to date and I look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
